Nadège Mouyssinat

Born in 1984 in Toulouse, Mouyssinat lives and works in Limoges. Since adolescence, she has been fascinated by the history of art. After a study of applied arts of which two years specialized in ceramics, the young woman will work for ten years for renowned factories of Limoges/Raynaud, Bernardaud, Hullt, Saint-Léonard... For these luxury companies, the young ceramist specialising in sculpture and casting will accompany the realization of collections or works of artists. She will then integrate part-time ENSA which allows her to reconnect with her artistic approach and devote herself to her practice as an artist. Mouyssinat realizes a sensual, organic universe between sculpture and installation. These porcelain casting pieces testify to a real mastery and know-how acquired in the workshop. She received the prize for the young creation Métiers d'art 2018 by the Ateliers d'art de France.
